Objectives of Vasundhara
The core objectives of Vasundhara Sanvardhan Seva Sanstha are derived from the acronym VASUNDHARA – Voluntary Action for Social, Urban, Nature, Disaster, Human, Health, Agriculture & Rural Association’s. Through these objectives, the organization strives to create a balanced, sustainable, and prosperous society where people live in harmony with nature and have access to better opportunities for growth and well-being
Vasundhara Sanvardhan Seva Sanstha is committed to the integrated and sustainable development of rural and urban communities. The following are the key objectives of the organization:
To promote Social Welfare
by fostering social justice, community harmony, women and youth empowerment, and inclusive development for marginalized and vulnerable sections of society.
To strengthen Urban Linkages
by bridging the rural-urban divide through skill development programs, livelihood opportunities, and support services for migrant families and peri-urban communities.
To conserve and nurture Nature
by undertaking environmental protection initiatives, large-scale tree plantation, biodiversity preservation, water conservation, and spreading awareness on sustainable natural resource management.
To enhance Disaster Management and Resilience
by conducting community-based disaster preparedness training, providing timely relief during calamities (such as drought and flood), and supporting long-term rehabilitation efforts.
To advance Human Development
by organizing education and awareness programs, capacity-building workshops, personality development activities, and life-skills training to unlock the potential of individuals and communities.
To improve Health and Nutrition
by organizing regular health camps, nutrition awareness drives, sanitation and hygiene programs, and preventive healthcare education in rural areas.
To promote Sustainable Agriculture and Livelihoods
by introducing organic farming practices, soil and water conservation techniques, crop diversification, modern farming training, and other initiatives to increase agricultural productivity and ensure secure rural livelihoods.
